On January 4th 2010, Brian Shock announced to KGB listeners that Dave, Shelly, and Chainsaw, were no longer the morning show on KGB.
After extensive negotiations, and offering the DSC team a very lucrative, multi-year offer, we were unfortunately not able to reach an agreement to keep the show with KGB.
We wish Dave, Shelley, and Chainsaw all the best in their future pursuits and thank them for their special contribution to the station. KGB has had a special relationship with listeners in San Diego as the leading Classic Rock station for many years. We look forward to continuing that tradition.

The Dave, Shelly and Chainsaw show was on 101.5 KGB in San Diego, also syndicated out in California on Q103.3 in Temecula.
I think KGB has made a HUGE mistake in letting this popular radio show slip through their fingers.
